More info

A Remo Buffalo Drum is a type of percussion instrument commonly used in various musical genres and therapeutic settings. It is designed to replicate traditional Native American frame drums. The Remo Buffalo Drum is known for its deep, resonant sound and typically features:

  • Frame: A lightweight, sturdy frame usually made from a composite material that provides excellent resonance and durability.
  • Synthetic drumhead: Made from a durable, weather-resistant material called Acousticon, which is less sensitive to humidity and temperature changes compared to natural skin drumheads.
  • Size: This drum in particular is 16" in diameter and 3 1/2" deep. They typically range from 8 to 22 inches in diameter, allowing for different tonal qualities and playing styles.
  • Mallet: Comes with a soft mallet, which is used to strike the drumhead and produce its distinctive sound.
  • Condition: Bran New never used

These drums are popular in group drumming sessions, meditation, shamanic practices, and other contexts where rhythm and vibration are essential.
